This restaurant was a nightmare and a rip-off. I decided to try it after watching a tik tok video by a blogger who raved about it, but it turned out to be the worst decision of my trip to Tokyo. The food was outrageously expensive and disgustingly cooked, with low-grade ingredients and excessive seasoning. The appetizers were like Korean food, but worse. The roast meat was so hard that I could barely chew it, and the wagyu beef sandwich was a joke that tasted like ketchup sandwiched between two pieces of bread. There was nothing special or luxurious about the food, no sea urchins, no truffles, nothing. I felt like I wasted my money and time here. Anyone who thinks this restaurant is good has never been to a good restaurant.
The service was also atrocious. The waiters and waitresses were lazy and impolite. They asked me to help them pass the plate and get things as if I was their assistant. They didn’t care about my satisfaction or comfort at all. I wondered if I should switch roles with them, just let the waiters and waitresses sit down and I deliver the service.
I hated this experience and felt betrayed by the vlogger’s dishonest promotion. This was the worst meal I had in Japan, and probably in my life. I advise everyone to avoid this place...
Read moreAfter reading all the outstanding reviews I expected this to be my best meal in Japan however unfortunately it turned out to be the worst...We were sitting on a table with a little bbq in between and the staff was running around to do the cooking for us. We decided to go for the full experience so including the offal and the sandwich. However as they work in 2 shifts of only 2 hours per shift it turned out to be a ''competition in quick eating'': eveything was served in an extremely high speed so I did not have time to finish the first dish before the second was already served so I only ate half of everything served and my stomach bothered me at night. Because the staff has to do the cooking they are standing next to your table to cook the next dish before you even finished the former dish so I felt very unconfortable and rushed. Besides that all the meat was overcooked and tough so you did not taste the good quality of the meat; maybe because the staff has to do the cooking for different tables at the same time so they do not have enough time to focus on just 1 table per dish? Anyway I was really disappointed and my high expectations were not...
Read moreThis was a terrible experience. Super expensive for normal folks, around 200usd per person. They assigned us with an intern who massacred half of our meal, even though we constantly asked for our meat on the rear side, she kept getting it at WD. This is unacceptable in this price range. All the offal parts were super chewy and really not that good, I had offal many times in my life and this was the worst yet. The grill was never changed so by the 3rd cut it started having unpleasant charred bits with burnt pieces of meat from previous rounds. Drinks are really overpriced, it took about 30 minutes and at least 3 asks until they finally agreed to serve us some tap water. Portions were OK and the 2nd waitress that was assigned to us was fine, altough we were clearly having issues with our meal and there was zero response from the staff. Amuse bouche was good, all 3 tongue dishes were burnt by our waitress. Dessert was OK, super bland corn tea and small scoop of nice pistachio ice cream. I recommend you find any other Yakiniku in Tokyo, even the cheaper all-you-can-eat ones will have same quality beef but far...
