Disappointed more than anything...
Went to the cafe with high hopes seeing as it is an international company with venues all over the world, little did I know I was in for disappointment.
I went to the drop in first thing in the morning (mid week) and low and behold there was no one else waiting on the laser. Just another person who had booked in so I was happy to wait for the drop in slot to open! Baring in mind, my Japanese isn’t prefect by any means but I can get my point across. The guy helping also spoke a little English which helped.
I told him what I wanted to get something cut and what is was for (this is important for later), a router jig for a piece of furniture I’m making ( I even brought the router with me to demonstrate). With that in mind he said it wouldn’t be any problem. But there was somethingwrong with my drawing when he opened it on the software (in house) for the laser cutter. It is an extremely simple drawing consisting of only 3 rectangles. So he made it and that was no problem, I was so happy that I could get it cut out in less than 5 minutes and returned back to where I’m building. Started to use it and after the second cut I realised that it wasn’t square, Instead as if cutting out a rectangle he had cut out a parallelogram.
Working on a job for a client, of course this isn’t ideal but I just thought I was go back and ask could they fix it. So I decided to go back after I made a call when they told me they couldn’t see me until the next day in the evening. I went anyway as it was difficult for me to explain the problem over the phone and the guy thought that he had done the job perfectly.
So I brought a square with me (brand new only 2 days old) and showed them, well, a different person as the guy that served me didn’t even look at me when I walked back in to the cafe. They told me that they couldn’t cut a new one out today as they are too busy, I said that it was fine but I tried to explain it was for a job, to the new guy and that it was important. I told them the drawing must have been wrong, to which he replied “oh, our machine needs serviced, it’s actually not working properly at the moment. If you want a precise cut made you need to go somewhere else”. (Remember I said about the important thing) to which I tried to explain that they should tell people before they pay for something that this should be made obvious. If I had of know that it wouldn’t have cut it out correctly I wouldn’t have use that service.
The whole experience was just frustrating, the staff in general where nice and I wouldn’t normally write this kind of review but I just think that others should be aware especially if they are working on something expensive like me that I now have to try and fix.
Disappointing customer service I wasn’t even offered a refund. I even asked about it and the guy just told me he didn’t understand and that it was the machines fault (so therefor mine?)I just left, and to be honest it will probably be the last time I go to a...

Tucked into a creative pocket of Shibuya, FabCafe Tokyo offers a quiet refuge for those seeking both caffeine and concentration. I dropped in for a quick bite and was struck by how seamlessly it blends café culture with a co-working spirit.
Despite the crowd, the ambiance was focused and hushed — a rare find in Tokyo. Most customers had laptops open, heads down, immersed in their own flow. I found a peaceful window seat, perfect for a moment of solitude. The café latte (¥600) was well-crafted, with a savory smoothness that lingered pleasantly. The pumpkin muffin (¥400) surprised me — not overly sweet, but earthy and nicely spiced, ideal with the coffee.
The space is clearly built for productivity, with plenty of power outlets and a minimalist, modern charm. Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi failed to deliver — it connected but the landing page wouldn’t load, which could be frustrating for remote workers relying on connectivity.
Still, the atmosphere makes this a solid choice for a working café break — especially if you bring your own hotspot.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars) (A good experience with strong atmosphere and solid coffee, slightly let down by the non-functional Wi-Fi.)

Read moreI really want to like this place, I really do. The staff didn't seem to be well organized. Upon entering, my group was told not to sit at a certain table (no reserved sign or anything on it), which then we immediately told we could. Our shaved ice took a long time to prepare, which we did not mind, but they didn't even bring us enough utensils for the 4 of us, only 1 little dessert spoon person shaved ice. The fact we actually had to ask staff to bring them seemed ridiculous. One of us just started eating with the spoon that came with the coffee. Were the rest of us expected to share spoons? Maybe there was a utensil shortage, but no explanation was given from the staff. It was a delicious shaved ice and interesting space, but service...
