From the moment you step inside, you can feel excitement radiating throughout the restaurant, thanks in large part to the friendly and attentive staff who are always eager to ensure that you have a great dining experience. But, it's not just the service that makes this place so special. The food is truly outstanding, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients and expertly crafted dishes that are bursting with flavor. The fatty tuna is absolutely delicious, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that is hard to resist. The Wagyu beef is a must-try as well, and the baked scallop and shrimp tempura are both cooked to perfection. And let's not forget about dessert! The homemade “cherry blossom” ice cream is the perfect way to cap off a meal at this amazing restaurant. It's no wonder that famous celebrities and rockstars have been spotted dining here repeatedly - the combination of great food, fantastic service, and lively atmosphere is truly unbeatable. Overall, if you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than this Japanese Izakaya restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with warmth and hospitality, and the food is simply outstanding. Don't miss out on this gem!

Arguably one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was unbelievable. The staff was unreal, they greeted us with such joy. Even if it was just some kind of set instruction, still amazing. Be careful coming here, you may order the same thing 4-5 times, marveling at how good the food is. The steak felt like it was grabbing my taste buds and strangling them by neck in a good way. The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. I may never eat sushi again, because it will never live up to this place. I usually don’t write reviews for restaurants but this is the one time I feel obligated to. As a traveler/tourist in Japan myself I’ve felt weary of just entering a restaurant without second thought but once you step foot into this place you will know you made the right decision. I could write college level papers about the meal and experience I just had and it was worth every single penny. Do yourself a favor and come here. Thank you to the owner, the chef, the staff and anyone else who was involved with this restaurant. It wasn’t just a meal it was an experience and a memory I will never forget and cherish for the rest of my life.

Unclear reservation rules restrict you to ordering from specific menus. Our waiter explained that those who booked using OpenTable must order from 3 various preset courses. Would be nice to have a disclaimer that identifies the other websites/links to use to make a reservation and be able to order from an a la carte menu. Since we booked on OpenTable, we ordered the Tsuki set for ¥5300 per person that comes with 10 different courses. The first 3 courses (tofu, amberjack sashimi and assorted sashimi) literally arrived within 10 seconds of each other which was great because we were hungry but at the same time it took up all the space on our small two person table. The next 3 courses took a while to arrive but like the first 3 courses, they basically came all at once again. Also things arrived out of order which was weird but it's fine. Overall the food was really average. The best dish was the assorted sashimi and my least favorite was the prawn with prawn sauce (it's basically tastes like the Chinese honey walnut prawn dish). When we were there, it was 95% foreigners and the waiters can communicate in English easily. For an easy, hassle free meal I would say try it out but if your looking for local flavors then look elsewhere.

An extraordinary culinary experience from start to finish, the Tsuki tasting menu started off strong with the sesame tofu and didn’t let up until the final spoonful of sakura gelato. Any meal that you immediately want to relive is a winner, and this meets that criteria. Medals of distinction go to the tuna spareribs, the whole grilled fish, and the wagyu sukiyaki. The tuna spareribs specifically are unlike any dish I’ve ever had - I didn’t know that a fish could be so extraordinarily meaty until I had this. The meat comes clean off the bone and is so juicy, the sauce (perhaps jus?) accentuates the flavour so well… it rewrote my expectations for what can be done with a tuna, especially after eating it as sashimi earlier in the meal. The environment is a bit noisy, as the staff go hard on the customer greetings and thank you’s, but the rowdy atmosphere didn’t have a negative impact on me - just something worth knowing in case it would bother you. A wonderful meal all around.
