GOCCHI BATTA Shibuya — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Christmas with my family, after seeing appealing reviews and photos on their website.

However, upon arrival, the restaurant appeared old and unclean, not matching the online images.

The 90-minute course, priced at ¥10,000, felt overpriced.

The salad bar offered limited and seemingly unfresh options.

Some grilled meats were tough and dry, as if they were old, and were served lukewarm, though some were tasty.

Despite many vacant tables, we were initially seated in an undesirable and unclean corner. Upon requesting a change, the staff kindly accommodated us, for which I am grateful.

The staff serving the grilled meats were friendly and attentive.

Overall, I was disappointed with the experience compared to the price paid.

I hope the restaurant improves its quality and service...

They're advertising the dinner price with alcohol as ¥4980 on the English translated menu but when it came time to pay they charged us ¥6600 per person. We also had a group of 9 but 4 of our friends couldn't make it. We stated when we walked in that only 5 people will be eating so we only took up the one table. They acted like the 4 people were still supposed to be there and tried charging 2200 service fee for our friends that couldn't make it. Next time we just won't show up at all. It's not like there is a deposit.

The meat was sub par at best. Only the chicken and sirloin were soft. Everything else was filled with fat and grizzle. All the other neat was also extremely salty! Nit sure why they over salted it so much. Good thing there is unlimited drinks to wash all the salt away lol.. Would...

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The quality of the meat and the service did not justify the price. The meat took over an hour to arrive at our table, and when it finally did, it was tough and flavorless.

Moreover, when I politely asked the staff to bring more meat after waiting for an hour and only receiving three types, the person who brought it slammed the meat onto the table and had a noticeably unpleasant demeanor for someone in the service industry.

Overall, I expected much better from a place with such high prices. I won't be returning and cannot recommend it based...
