Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Ordered the wagyu beef jerky with potato salad topped with truffle, raw wagyu carpaccio, tenderloin and beef pilaf. The carpaccio was incredibly interesting - it had a taste similar to tuna but the texture of the beef. When I thought it could not get any better, the wagyu tenderloin just blew my mind - it was crunchy on the outside but so tender & juicy on the inside. The best steak I’ve ever had. The chef and waitress kept paying attention to the progress of our meal to make sure each dish was served just on time for the most optimal enjoyment. The price was incredibly cheap for the quality of the meal.
We went on a weekday so the ambience was really peaceful and tranquil.
Would definitely visit again if...
Read moreWe came here after spotting a sign and not wanting to google wagyu spots. What a find. We were the only ones there for awhile so it did make the atmosphere a bit awkward. And I thought we’d get more friendly intimate service, but it was rather service only. Still, they were great and I enjoyed their service. English was not that great, but able to get by. We ordered the course and glad we did. One of the dishes was a light sukiyaki topped with egg yolk with some veggies, and it was the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. I ordered a second for that and I’ll go to this restaurant just for that. The other dishes were also good, but didn’t stand out like the sukiyaki. Drinks were very limited, but I don’t fault them for that. Exceptional food. Highly...
Read moreThis was one of our favorite meals during the entire trip. The chefs and staff were welcoming, kind and professional. The restaurant is small with only 5ish tables so it’s a wonderful place to enjoy an intimate dinner. The food is incredible. I don’t typically love steak but I had the a5 wagyu tenderloin set course and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The value was incredible compared to the US given the amount and quality of the food you receive. This meal in the US would easily be 4X the cost. We will definitely return next trip! One note: it took us a little searching to find the restaurant, it’s down a small alley next to the coffee shop (I think maybe it was Starbucks?). There is a sign for the restaurant off the...
