Chicken sashimi, yes please. Very flavorful chicken sashimi and good grilled chicken too. The master griller is bias towards non Japanese, so do take note of his unwelcome expression. But we can't blame them sometimes. They can't speak English so it is also hard for both of parties to communicate too. We were seated upstairs with this really cheerful, energetic young server and he tries his best to speak English serving us, kudos to him. If you are adventurous with food, this is definitely a place worth to go to to get their...

I dont recommend foreigners to come here. I came for dinner, the staff was guiding me through the menu and he made it seem like nothing is available for dinner except this chicken soup. not only that it was unreasonably expensive, they forced us to make 2 orders , but came in one bowl ! On top of that they forced us to order drinks also, saying we cant do without drinks, i guess part of this scamming experience! I ended up paying 7000+ for a bowl of soup...

Very very good Oyakodon! Dinner set is pretty worth it, at about 1800 yen for 3 appetisers and a bowl of very good Oyakodon. Do note however, that it is mandatory for you to buy a drink during dinner time. chicken is very fresh, and if you’re abit more adventurous you can go for a chicken sashimi platter. (pictured), it’s slightly pricey but nothing like anything you’ll ever have.

Overall, a good meal with a decent price tag if you stick to the...

You guys can also watch the FULL vlogs on my YouTube! Link in bio ❤️ follow @orianafindlay for more 🇯🇵 A bit more info from the video: - The chicken ramen spot is called “Ramen Hayashida” even the broth is made from chicken stock and contains no pork! So if you don’t eat pork this is a great place to try some authentic ramen. I’m still dreaming of this ramen! - The vintage area I visited is called Koenjiminami - it has a lot of hip vintage stores for those who are into the “Americana” aesthetic - lots of sportswear like Colombia, Dickies and even retro football team shirts. It does have some vintage designer too, you can checkout Atlantis Vintage for that! More to come on vintage designer shopping soon though! - Nakano Broadway is a must-visit. It has loads of vintage designers shops, and if you’re interested in watches in particular you’ll be in heaven! It’s also a foodies paradise, I recommend heading to the basement level where you’ll find Daily Chico, which has the tallest ice cream in Japan! Make sure to also checkout the pet shop which also has an ethical cat cafe upstairs 🐈 - Besides our Omakase dinner we didn’t make any reservations in Tokyo - we preferred to roam the backstreets of Shibuya and Shinjuku looking for food. Restaurants do close earlier in Tokyo though so keep this in mind! We stumbled across Hashidaya, the cutest izakaya specialising in chicken dishes. The food was soooo good - I highly recommend the chicken tempura with sticky sauce and the wings too! Also have a glass of plum wine (it’s delicious!) and goes well. - For after-dinner drinks we went to Family Mart (Yes, Family Mart the convenience store!) in Shibuya. Such a unique experience drinking plum wine in a supermarket 🤔 we then found a speakeasy a few streets down called Bar Legacy which was super cute! #tokyotrip #tokyotravel #tokyominivlog #tokyovlog #adayinmylife #japan #japantravels #tokyotravelguide
