HUB Akihabara — Restaurant in Tokyo

A larger then typical Hub, has two separate sections across from each other in the lobby of an office building, apparently one is closed in the day.

*Huge "out door" (lobby) seating area. *Food, Beer and drinks; same fare as other Hubs. *Great location in Akihabara, not far from station. *Service was great, staff wonderful

Big negative; toilet access; been to nearly 30 Hubs in the area, very very few don't have their own toilet. Unfortunately this is one of them.

You have to walk about 100' to a dirty semi-public toilet in the lobby of this building. Can't imagine sitting there drinking beer and having to walk all the way to this...

It’s a nice homely establishment with an atmosphere that provides a comforting and overwhelmingly positive vibe. As someone who travels between the US & UK it has the charm of both worlds with a noticeable yet highly welcome Japanese twist. The staff are friendly and help provide assistance when asked, if you are an English speaker you will easily find the menu and pub itself welcoming.

Highly recommend anyone to try the fish & chips with a pint, if you’re someone who travels with a laptop like myself you’ll find charging stations located alongside the walls and booths. All in all the pub is simply divine and I wouldn’t have it...

Good food, good drinks. Prices are decent especially with the current exchange rate. The staff are very friendly and speak enough English to help you if needed, but do your best to thank them with an "arigato."

Various groups meet up here on a regular basis. I visited nightly during my stay in Japan to hang out with friends from VRChat.

The "outdoor" seats are inside the building. During the summer it gets quite warm as there is no AC or circulation. It got hot enough that I had to go outside to cool down, and a friend brought a full size desk fan to cool us down after a few nights... Indoors, in Hub itself,...
