My husband and I had just celebrated my birthday dinner together with åēē¼čé£ć¹ę¾é” in ę°å®æ, so we were super full and needed a long walk. Weāve been thinking to have some yummy dessert, we walked past this āMister donutā, so we went inside.
I always love āMister donutāās mochi mochi donut, but this time I wanted to try something different. The one I wanted to try is the PokĆ©mon cute donut, which has the little animal come out from the ground, but looks like that was sold out. So we decided to tried the other PokĆ©mon one, which look much more simple but has cream inside.
The donut was very delicious, light and airy, not oily or bread like, I was also surprised that it wasnāt too sweet! We both like it very much and finished it together in a minute!
Definitely will eat āMister donutā again in the future. I just hope that that can also sell those chewy mochi donuts in countable pieces, cause sometimes I donāt feel like eating the whole donut which has 8 chewy mochi, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the 2nd Mister Donut we visited on our Japan trip and honestly, these are really solid donut chains. I would much prefer this chain to a Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts from back home. Most of the locations are pretty small, but even late night when we visited, they still had a ton of options to choose from which I feel is not always the case with some donut places at night. I only had one of my donuts that night and ate the rest over the next day or so and they were still so fresh. I love the taste of their donuts as well since they are not overly sweet and have really great balance. It was slightly busy when we got there but the staff did a great job of taking care of everyone and all seemed to be pretty friendly. My only complaint is that it can be tough to see what flavors there are until it is your turn, and by that time you can feel a little rushed to pick. But I definitely recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wasnāt expecting much when I ordered Mister Donut delivery while staying in Shinjuku, but wowāI was blown away. These were honestly the best donuts Iāve ever had. My favorites were the yeast and mochi-style Pon de Ring donuts. Light, chewy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
My mom, who takes her donuts very seriously, was so impressed she actually wanted to visit the shop in person just to thank the staff. Sounds funny, but she meant itāsheās a donut connoisseur and said these were top-tier.
I was surprised to learn Mister Donut is a franchise, kind of like the Japanese version of a big American donut chainābut the quality here was on another level. We ended up visiting a Mister Donut in almost every city we traveled to after this, and none of them quite matched the...
