Ichiran Machida — Restaurant in Tokyo

As with any restaurant, you'll find a wide variety of views on this nationwide chain! In my opinion, there is a lot to like, especially for a visitor to Japan, as the dining experience is a little unusual. It has the normal (for Japan) ticket vending machine, but it also has individual stalls at the counter that have partitions that can be opened and closed, and your meal is served through a small hatch in front of you. I am just amazed by this restaurant’s hospitality. Here they provide veg ramen and chicken based ramen as takeaway. Today my order took more time, so they were so sorry about making me wait for long time. They gave a bottle of tea, returned back the money and gave chicken ramen as gift. I felt it was too much, the wait wasn’t very long. I dint understand whether to be happy or how to react. Unique Experience and Great Ramen! :) I had ordered an extra 4 pieces of chashu (roast pork), which isn't shown in the picture below. I had light garlic, and the base level of everything else. It was flavorful and filling. I drank every last drop of the soup and left full and happy :)

I highly recommend this place.

Side note: I went to the location in Omotesando and ordered the same thing as I did at the Machida location and found that the flavor wasn't as great at...
