Indianrestaurant Gajanan Hanzomon — Restaurant in Tokyo

More than 30 seats in a linear layout. Very plain decor, but feels like a former bar. Lunch menu is a little broader than average and the curry of the day was unusual. No Wi--Fi and no TV or music when I was there. Pretty sure the staff is Nepali, though I didn't ask. Faster than average service and seemed to be attracting a good lunch crowd as I finished.

The curry of the day was chicken with bamboo shoots. Worked quite well, though the base of the curry was on the thin side. Nicely seasoned and Japanese level of spiciness. Naan was quite nice, fluffy with a subtle sweetness. Salad was average, but I'll call it a high four stars overall, mostly on the adventurous spirit...

Food was really good but it doesn't make up for how bad the customer service was, didn't get the rice I ordered with my curry and had to wait near 10 minutes to pay and leave while the cashier was talking to someone, sad because it's some of the best Indian food I've had but I would...

夕食にて訪問。 ここの住所を冠した平河町セットなるもの（タンドリーチキンにサラダカレーナンorライスドリンクと、要するに普通のちょっといいカレーセット）とチキンティッカ、それにパパドを注文。 カレーは本日のカレーを辛口（選べる辛さの5段階中の2番目の辛さ）で注文しましたが、本日のカレーがバターチキン系だったので思ったよりは辛くならず。 逆に、甘さと辛さが不思議な融合をしていて、これはこれで有り！な味に仕上がってました。 あとは地味だけど、セットのタンドリーチキンとサラダが別皿で出てきたのは嬉しいポイント。 ありがちな「全部でかい更にまとめて乗せる」系は、味が混ざるのが地味に嫌なんですよね。 また、店員さんはよく店内を見ていて、例えば水がなくなったら結構すぐ補充に来るし、食べ終わった皿（決して食べ途中のものではない）があればさっと回収したりといい動きをしていました。 ただ、空調がちょい効きすぎかもしれない…夏の訪問でしたが、後半は外でかいてきた汗が冷え...
