We visited this restaurant twice while in Japan - that’s how good it is!

Must have: Tuna bone (spine) - what they’re famous for and out of this world! Scooped with a clam and couldn’t be tastier - absolute must have - the picture says it all. Sea urchin & scallop gratin - can’t stress how delicious this is, succulent urchin mixed with sweet scallop and by far the tastiest bechamel you would have had (better than any Italian restaurant) grilled asparagus - they look giant but couldn’t be more tender and delicious Sho-Niku (grilled green pepper and green onion and chicken) - lets just say I couldn’t get my husband to stop ordering this. Juicy tender and delicious - dripping with goodness Makomo-take

I could keep going!

The staff are friendly but don’t speak much English. The head chef is amazing - speaks English, is friendly and is an absolute gentleman.

Eat here - you...

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident during a visit to the fish markets. We saw a long line of locals and decided to join. Their specialty is grilled tuna collarbone - what’s in the picture - the waitress said the first dish is 10/10. We tried #2 which came with sashimi it was super fresh and also #1, I would definitely recommend getting #1 as you can try all the parts of the tuna collarbones, #2 only come with half sizes of the tuna and you will not be able to try all the parts of the tuna collarbone. #2 filled me up! Lunch set is only ¥1000 which is super cheap considering one oyster is already ¥500 at the fish market 2 streets away. We lined up around 11:15 and just made it in when they...

As a French tourist visiting Japan, my partner and I had a dining experience that left us with mixed feelings. While the dishes were tasty, we were surprised by additional charges that seemed targeted towards tourists. There was a 600 yen seating fee per person, and a 10% surcharge applied to the entire bill, which made our meal unexpectedly expensive. Moreover, the atmosphere in the restaurant was quite oppressive; the servers watched us constantly, making us feel rushed to make our menu selections. This uncomfortable environment detracted significantly from our dining experience. While the food itself was good, the added costs and the intense scrutiny from the staff were...

A famous fish restaurant where you can always enjoy the Nakaochi (Tuna’s bone and you scrape meat from it with a sea shell) A reservation recommended as number of Nakaochi is limited. Also great place for charcoal grill on the table - they show you the catch of the day and fresh vegetables at your table and you pick what you want. They will help you to grill it perfectly. Close from the Tsukiji station and walkable from Ginza area. Staffs are also very kind.
