My friends and I stopped here around 2:10pm on a Friday. The food area was extremely busy but they weren’t.
We looked at the menu outside. We had to wait a few minutes to sit when we decided to patronize here. When we were sat, it was at bar seating.
We ordered at 2:17pm. I got the taco plate with chicken and beef. It normally comes with chicken and pork. I also got a side of Mexican rice.
The food came around 2:25pm in a beautiful presentation. It came with 5 corn tortillas. I’m glad I got the plate versus the tacos as I dislike certain topics and found it’s not as easy to remove items with the language barrier. I did notice I had more chicken than beef, which was disappointing considering the beef cost extra. The meat was tasty! I’m usually not a fan of shredded tacos but it paired with cilantro and onions made it enjoyable.
The rice was somewhat bland, to me. I crunched up the tortilla chips that came with the plate and added it to the rice. This made it taste better and the meal was fulfilling considering I was very hungry.
They don’t have a large amount of seating which makes sense for them to have a time limit on seating. They are also cashless. I would...
Read moreLook, don't get me wrong, the food here is excellent!!!! But the food size and the price is ridiculous. My wife and I both ordered the three taco set, and each taco is the size of your palm, literally. So, it's all just a big bite size. We also ordered the rosemary fries. It was not enough for us, and yet the bill was over 4000yen total. Not to mention all the pictures on the menu look like a normal size when they're much smaller. The quesadillas set has a picture that shows two of them on the plate with 500yen next to it but what they don't tell you is that EACH of them are that price..... And this restaurant is located under the train station...... Really hard to find.Idk, although the food tastes awesome, I still think...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place as a Mexican food lover, and for the fact that the overall vibe inside was good. But man, the food here is just mediocre at best and very pricey for what you get. I ordered some Matador cocktail and was disappointed that the drinks are super watered down, too, as I didn't even feel tipsy at all after putting it down and I'm told I can't hold my liquor all the time! The tortilla soup was too salty; way saltier than it's intended and I couldn't believe the fact that they were serving this thing. I couldn't finish it. Overall, if you really want to eat authentic Mexican food in Tokyo that's actually worth it -and yes, they're not many- keep...
