A hotspot for locals so you will expect the food is good. The menu price is even better. Each set costs around $7.50 USD, comes with rice, soup and free-flow of ice water. Be prepared to queue as the premise is small. You can ask for the English menu and scan the QR code. The pork black curry was alright, nothing extraordinary but the chicken namban was to die for. Savory coated with sauce, topped with japanese tartare sauce was still crispy throughout. The cream or milk croquette was the high of another set meal. Creamy, soft but crispy on the outside.

The black curry was the standout dish here. Spicy and rich, it paired beautifully with both the katsu and oriental rice. The katsu was crispy and juicy, and the oriental rice had a lovely flavour and also came with a choice of croquette.

This is a definite local spot, but the tight seating and lack of flair are no blemish on the deliciousness available here. A bit out of the way, but...

Really filling meals if you're here. It's like homecooked food to the soul. Really love it here. Abit lack of English menu, but we did abit of Google translate (even though it's not really accurate). But if u're not picky with food, I'd recommend you to try out this place! Cos it's really a super typical cheap meal for the Japanese 💕 a huge sized portion for like less than 10...
