By far the worst experience I’ve ever had and experienced racism firsthand living here in Japan. My friends from South Korea had our dinner in this place and it was when we lined up to pay the bill at the register that it happened. There was another person in line in front of us knowing the person was gonna pay first, we stood behind took my credit card out to prepare. As soon as the waiter/employee saw us and my card out he started yelling in Japanese “hayai hayai” in a very rude manner meaning too fast assuming i didn’t know Japanese. So I eventually confronted him, paid the bill but never got the apology i asked. Probably the guy was having a bad day and mistakenly mistook the situation but this was something i’ve never experienced living here for more the 10 years. I just know that this person had this hate towards us foreigners. Most of my real are friends are Japanese and they are great but this person and what happened to us here was definitely different. It’s disappointing. Not any person deserve this kind of treatment.

Went here since it was meant to have one of the best sushi in Tokyo as an all you can eat. First of the "all you can eat" is full of limitations, you can only eat so many sushi types on a maximum number of orders for a limited time period. The price for this was ridiculous so me and my partner ended up ordering the deluxe set and a few more things. Most of the deluxe sushi set was horribly bad, only the squid one was any good, one of them nearly made me puke. Only good surprise in thus set was the miso soup which was included and we didn't know, but only one soup. Then we ordered the tempura. It came with a sauce, but with or without it still had no taste at all. After this we ordered the 4 type of skewers, which all tasted exactly the same, if one of them didn't have red bits in it I would say they were 4 of the same skewers. After that we ordered a set of eel sushi and a set of california roles, they were okay but I've had better in and out of Japan. For drinks we ordered 2 cokes. The price of all of this was around 7000 yen, which is still cheaper than the all you can eat sushi for 2 (in which men pay more than women for some reason?). I could have eaten 3 much better meals elsewhere for that price. The staff was also ridiculous. The nicest waiter for us was a guy that barely spoke a word of english, lucky for us my partner speaks a bit of japanese. The rest of the staff didn't even try to be polite. The cashier at the front looked like she had no clue of what was going on half the time. TLDR: bad staff, bad food, over priced and overrated. Avoid like the plague. Complete...

I recently had the most disappointing experience l've ever had at this restaurant.

The tablet ordering system was inefficient, confusing, and seemed to enable staff to ignore customers. It took way longer than ordering off a menu in front of you. It didn't have many of the basic menu items you'd expect.

Because of the tablet, there was a clear misunderstanding in my order. When I attempted to address issues, specifically the inclusion of wasabi, the staff devoted considerable effort to convincing me that the food was prepared correctly, without offering any meaningful solutions or alternatives. This approach prioritized justifying the original preparation over providing a satisfactory experience.

Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar, with the fish tasting below expectations and the sushi presentation lacking attention to detail. Notably, the salmon and avocado roll was poorly executed, with uneven cuts and excessive mayo.

It seemed that the staff's primary focus was on retaining revenue rather than taking pride in the quality of their product or ensuring customer satisfaction.

I am hard pressed to leave one star reviews or not find something redeemable... I would caution others to be aware of these issues before deciding to dine here, and suggest that the restaurant reconsider their priorities to better serve...

Tokyo, Japan | Must-Try High-Rated Food Guide ‼️ No Reservations Needed

A pretty busy AYCE/ take out sushi restaurant that’s located in the heart of Shinjuku. Coming around 7pm on a Sat, there was a lineup as we had to wait 30 mins for a seat. When you come in, you tell the host the party size and they even have an English menu available. They will also ask if you are doing a la cart or AYCE and note that you cannot change your mind half way (ex. If you chose AYCE, you can’t decide to go back to a la cart), and they also charge 50 yen per unfinished portion of food. They have different prices that goes by gender and children (age 6 and under should be free). There are also free soft drink upgrades to your AYCE menu if you come with a group of just females or with children. You get a tablet where you punch in the orders. They limit only up to 6 different sushi per order and no more than 30 pc at once. The food comes pretty fast after ordering, and I’m surprised how prompt the service is despite the restaurant being very busy. We ordered a lot of nigiri and I must that the the fish is pretty fish. Just remember to not order too much and order little by little as you’d be surprised how full you easily get (unless you have a bottomless stomach haha).

We were rushing for a flight soon and decided to go for a quick sushi meal. So far in our 1 week, almost every food we ate were good and some were excellent....but this...? Bad... Sushi doesn't taste fresh... The chutoro may have melted in my mouth but it has a slight fishy (not so fresh). But it's still better than the salmon in my chirashi... As it didn't melt, but breaks in my mouth! And a few of the nigiri sushi we had, we have to remove the scale (shown in the pictures)... It's like me going to the fish market. This is surely worst than Sushiro, and not to mention the omakase we had. Probably a tourist trap in a super good location but below average food. I had better even in normal restaurants my own country, Singapore. Their best dish/item... The wasabi on the chirashi! So I say loudly, this is by far the worst meal I had in my 1 week here. Avoid! Overall rating: 2 out of 10.
