This is a cute breakfast spot with very friendly staff! The pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet, so they balanced well with the fruit and whipped cream (which was put in a cute swirl on top before we ruined it). We also ordered the edamame and a soy cutlet sandwich. The edamame was extremely well seasoned and garlicky. The cutlet sandwich had a good crunch, and the bread was well toasted. You get the option to order toast with your food as a side, and I highly recommend as it has a good texture and flavor. The strawberry smoothie was good as well. You can feel the strawberry seeds in it while you drink, and while we liked that you should steer clear of ordering that if you don’t like that texture. The coffees tasted strong, but if you like sweet coffee there’s an option where it is served with ice cream on top. There’s also a sweet syrup that you can request when ordering that adds a good depth of flavor. The staff when we went didn’t speak English, but were still very friendly and were able to interpret our questions accurately. You order off of a tablet at your table, and it has an English option so getting our order in was quick and easy as people that don’t speak Japanese. Highly...

We ended up coming here every day during our time in Tokyo, which should say it all. This is an all-vegan version of the Komeda Coffee café/restaurant chain, with a similarly cosy atmosphere and plant-based versions of many of their usual food and drink options. There is a variety of stuff on offer, with soy-meat katsu sandwiches, soy-meat fritters, pizza toast, ice-cream, pancakes and more. It’s not a bad option for any meal, though we used it mainly for breakfast. Komeda is known for its “morning set”, where any hot drink order before 11am comes with a slice of soy-buttered toast and your choice of spread (here, that was jam, vegan cream-cheese, red-bean paste, or minestrone), which makes up for the otherwise quite expensive drinks (700 yen for a standard black coffee. Soy and oat milk also available). We were glad to be staying nearby, giving us a reliable and tasty option for a vegan breakfast, something which can be hard to find even in Tokyo. It’s also a good option if you want something satisfying and hearty that isn’t trying to present itself as super-healthy just because it’s vegan. I wish there were more of these across the country, not just this...

I had lunch at komeda is with my boyfriend the other day. We were really hungry so ordered a lot of food. For food we ordered fried soy meat, potato salad, soy meat katsu sando, miso mayo burger and the Teri avo burger. The portions were actually huge for us (we are visiting from the UK) I think everything was reasonably priced for the portions and having everything being freshly made with great ingredients. I can really feel the love behind the food. We sat at the bar and was lovely watching the team work together to make the food. The ordering system was very easy aswell. For drinks we had the cafe latte cream and the iced coffee float which were also incredible and the almond milk soft serve was amazing. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the Ginza area even if you don't follow a plant...

Okay I have to be honest here. This is one of the best vegan cafe in the world! The food is really brilliant and the variety is astonishing! We are used to cafes where vegan option is just one item of the menu or removal of meat products from certain dishes. But this Komeda’s have outdone that. They have created an entire vegan menu and I am in love with it. My definite recommendations: Tofu fritters: it’s crisp and tasty. The sauces that accompany them are also amazing! Fruit liquor: a very simple fruit cocktail with a punch. Desserts, well go for it. Everything is amazing and they are 100% vegan. The staffs are really friendly and the place is so beautiful! I would say the dinner for 2 would come around ¥4000-¥5000 for a satisfied complete vegan meal!
