My family and I are all so happy with our experience at this hotel. It was close to our reservations, to the stations, convenience stores, drug store and to Tsukiji Outer Market. Would definitely stay here again!
Great staff, clean space and room size - The front staff are kind and do their job well. The lobby and bathroom is always clean and tidied up. The cleaning staff are also quick to help us get new towels and courteous in tidying the room up. The room size was just what we needed even if it is considered "small" in the US. They also help with getting us Taxis and umbrellas when it was raining hard. We love the public onsen that have clear signages, and was super easy and straight forward to use.
Something unique that they have is badge separation to use in order to go into the gender-separated public onsen.. the beige colored badge is for 'male-identified' and white is for 'female-identified'.
Free hotel bathroom supplies - They even have supplies right when you enter the hotel to grab to your own usage. Good enough quality to get the job done. They have razor, towel, hair band, cotton wipe, q-tip, bag, brush & toothpaste, and more.
Great accessibility! All 3 convenience store (7-11, lawson, family mart) are so close) and the drug store was across the street (great for if you get sick or need some beauty products).
Unexpected & Grateful for- They also did a free upgrade when we had an unexpected flight cancellation and went back to book the same hotel to rest.
Price - Reasonable for the location, time we went (busy season), and space of the room and amenities.
Exercise room - It has very bare basic trendmill and something else. Don't expect much.
Washing Machine & Dry Cleaning Service - Seemed straight forward to use. No issues on dry cleaning service, which you order with the front desk staff and seemed to have a quick turnaround.
Friendly for Family Friendly? Group? Solo? Seems so. No shortage of any of those variety there during our week stay.
Noise-level? Great. No...
Read moreWe are staying here during 06/24 and 07/01/2024. Love this hotel! For it's convenient location that's minutes walk away from the train station, and walking distance to major shoppings, lots of restaurants and cafes and 24-hour convenience stores, walking distance to Tsujiki Outer Market where you can get very fresh and fairly priced 5A Wagyu beef, sea urchins and lots of other seafood and gourmet Japanese food, Hama-rikyu Gardens that's a historic place and a must-go relaxing place to enjoy the serenity in nature among the capital skyscrapers!
For the hotel itself, everything is perfect and our room is clean and nice though not very spacious. Service is excellent! The lobby is relaxing. Better yet, I love the large public bath where I can get my body relaxed and gain back energy after a hot bath.
Today (June 28, 2024), I decided to go to the second floor restaurant for the half buffet breakfast and I was happy I did! Everything was so good! And the price of 2750 yen each person is worth it!
And there's a coin laundry where you enter your own passcode to secure your clothing in one of the 2 washer&dryer-in-one machines. Maximum cost is 500 yen for a load of 3kg.
And I learned that the hotel provides free luggage storage for the day if you check out but not leaving for your flight yet. Or, if you have booked another Mitsui Garden Hotel, your luggage can be stored up for a few days before having them delivered to your next hotel, or have your luggage delivered to the airport with some fees.(1500yen plus tax)
Oh, and there's one more thing I must mention: although the road in front of the hotel is a major busy road, I can barely hear any noise from my room in 806. And the interior air conditioner doesn't have any...
Read moreMy husband and I were quite impressed with our stay earlier this year at the Mitsui Garden Jingu Gaien Tokyo Premier Hotel. The Shinjuku location didn't interest us as much this time around since we were leaning toward Ginza to be closer to Tokyo Station for all the rail travel we were scheduled to do.
The central location made this choice a no-brainer, especially since it had all the amenities we came to expect from the Mitsui Garden brand including a gorgeous public bath. We decided to stay here at both the beginning and the end of our trip. The beginning was three nights at around $205 per night for a Standard Double No-Smoking room.
The room was plush though a bit on the small side which was more noticeable this time since it lacked the large balcony we had at Jingu Gaien. For our last three nights in Tokyo, we upgraded to a Moderate Double Non-Smoking for $246 per night, and it was completely worth it for the extra space to cool down from our rail travels.
I still love the indicator on the TV screen showing the occupancy level of the bath. It was never full regardless. The front desk service was impeccable, and I have to admit I was impressed how one young woman handled a group of aggressive German tourists when we checked in. Just a five-minute stroll to the main shopping street, the hotel was also close to major subway lines and a 20-minute walk to...
