Kushikatsu Tanaka Hatchobori — Restaurant in Tokyo

I always go to this chain, but it was my first time at this specific shop.

Food was great, atmosphere was fine. The only issue I have is that one of the staff (probably in training), does not follow proper hygiene when working with food.

I saw on two occasions when this specific staff member sneezed into his gloves, and then continued touching food without changing his gloves.

For me, I immediately lost my appetite, and could not eat anymore. I think it's unfortunate because tanaka is a good chain restaurant, but the severe lack of hygiene training makes me never want to go back. At least to this...

Good place near the station to try Kushikatsu or fried stuffs. It has many options which is good and the batter tastes just right.

One thing which is a major problem is price ratio given the charges are quite high individual sticks which are fairly small on size . Even if you have 5-6 sticks it will not fill you up at all and you will more than 1500-2000yen. Another major problem is cover charges and mandatory drink so if you don't drink you still will end up paying close to 700-1000yen for absolutely NOTHING.
