LA COCORICO — Restaurant in Tokyo

I'm deeply disappointed to share my recent experience at your restaurant. During my visit, I noticed an alarming trend of differential treatment towards customers based on their nationality.

Specifically, the female server displayed noticeable bias between Chinese and Japanese. It was upsetting to see her treating Chinese customers with less courtesy and respect compared to Japanese customers, an unacceptable behavior in any service industry. Hospitality should be unbiased and guests should be treated with equal respect, regardless of their origin.

Furthermore, I took the responsibility to report this incidence to the restaurant's headquarters, hoping for an explanation or at least an assurance that this won't happen again. Unfortunately, a week has passed since my communication and I've received no response whatsoever. This lack of communication only adds to my disappointment, and undermines my confidence in your restaurant.

The experience has seriously tarnished my view of the establishment and I feel reluctant to revisit or recommend it to others. It's my hope that the management will take immediate actions to...

Casual Italian place, most of customers were small group consisting from 2 to 4 people. We ordered all-you-can-drink for an hour, COCORICO flies, tart pizza, and the famous chicken. Fries were seasoned with truffle salt, topped with parmesan. It was great starter. After 45 minutes, pizza arrived. Contrary to our expectation, crust was thin and crunchy. Grilled onion sauce was sweet and marinated well with pancetta. After an hour and 10 minutes since arrival, finally half chicken came out. It was tender and soft, full of flavour. Skin was not so crunchy, but the dish definitely is a must have at the place. I agree with other reviews pointing out slowness of food and drink, it looked to me the location are lacking number of staff, they were quite busy but working with politeness. Rating would have been 4 if not for their attitude. Although during pandemic, the tables were literally full. I liked the ambience as well, neither too quiet...

We were tourists and almost walked away from the restaurant as we cannot just have a drink for lunch.

But Abassek who served us, showed us their set lunch menu and it was really good value for money. He did a good job and we were drawn to have lunch here.

And the appetiser and main course (mine was Gratin) was tasty even though the pricing was reasonable.
