McDonald's Akihabara station — Restaurant in Tokyo

If you are in the area looking for a McDonalds you can't make a better choice. The resturant is close to Akihabara station. They offer free wifi for 60 minutes at a time and allow for phone charging.

Food wise, there is better food. It is McDonald's and you're getting McDonald's. That being said if you like McDonald's you will not be underwhelmed by the food here.

The seating is on the second floor. Heavy travelbags can be uncomfortable to get up the stairs.

Given it's 24 hour open time, I've seen people take a quick nap, study, do work, play games, and essentially use this location as a hangout spot. I've myself have enjoyed a burger here only to spend 2 hours afterwards studying.

The location is great, the food is McDonald's, the prices are alright, the extra services including toilet, internet and phone charging as well as a general lax atmoshpere makes this location a great one to hang out or spend time before heading home.

I usually like to try a local McDonald’s just to see what the difference is between each region, this time in Japan, I tried the ebi burger (fried shrimp) and it was better than I expected. Melon soda is also the sweetest soda I’ve had, it’s like pure green syrup, which is weird for a culture that doesn’t make things overly sweet.

Overall this McDonald’s has a ton of seating, very kid friendly, and has the temperature turned way up for the winter (too hot for my liking).

Service was decently quick but they don’t bring it...

Small MCD in the middle of akihabara good for a quick bite but you might want to check if there's seating available first when you came in group. They have self ordering kiosk that you can pay using IC card or credit so it's convenient.

I tried the rice burger that was in special collaboration with conan and it's great!
