Let me begin by saying I hate having to leave negative reviews for businesses but I think this needs to be shared with others. I and two other people came in to try some chicken which seemingly had good reviews. I ordered some wings and my friend ordered some pieces of thigh. Upon initially trying the chicken, the pieces had decent flavor and were actually satisfying. I was considering order more of the garlic wings, they sold them in orders of 2 pieces. However it was the 10 piece order of original wings that contained not 1, but TWO pieces of bloody and undercooked chicken. One of those pieces in which I bit into and ate only to notice the blood oozing out of the wings. Upon getting the bill, I notified the waitress that our chicken was clearly undercooked and still bloody so she went and notified the chef who didn’t even have the decency to come out and look for himself. Without even seeing the food he sent the waitress back to our table to notify us that the food was “ok”, “cooked fine”, and “not to worry”. How could he even come to that conclusion when he didn’t even step out of the kitchen to look at the food he undercooked and served us? Instead of being a man and speaking to us face to face, he had a waitress come and tell us his opinion on something he couldn’t even come out and look at with his own eyes. If you want undercooked chicken by an arrogant man who can’t accept when he’s wrong then come here. He’ll serve it bloody and with no regard for owning up to his mistake. Again, if you want bloody chicken, come here! Thanks again Naruto Kitchen Shibuya. You left a terrible impression on me as the final place I ate after an amazing two week trip in Japan. What a shame it had to end with a final meal served by such a careless person who doesn’t represent the rest of the culture I experienced here....
Read moreThere were only a few people dining when we visited on a Saturday night. We ordered the chicken breast, which I find to be quite salty and dry (not really a fan), their potato salad and chicken nanban. The chicken nanban was delicious and was truly juicy. Their potato salad was good but you can always get delicious potato salad anywhere in Japan.
I felt like we didn't order well and would definitely try more...
Read moreThis chicken was delicious. So good I already started eating before I took a picture. For half a chicken the price was good and they had instructions of how to tear the chicken apart into pieces but eventually I just reverted back into attacking it with my bare hands. Everything about this meal was great. Replaced the rice with a salad because I didn't need anymore carbs...
