Came at around opening time after reading multiple reviews, saying that there would be a long queue. To my surprise, there weren't many people. I was the third in line.
Inside, there's those machines where you place your order and it'll give you a meal ticket. I was pleasantly surprised that it had different language options. There aren't many seats inside but the turnover rate is quite fast so I don't think you'd have to wait very long.
There's a few options to choose from, but I went with the spicy miso tsukemen (S) with additional toppings. I found the serving size to be quite generous, despite it being the (S) size. The broth, although a little bit too oily for my liking, was quite delicious. Not too salty with a subtle spicy kick to it. The miso taste also came through in the broth. I loved the slightly firm and chewy texture of the noodles, which clung on to the broth very well. You can request to have the noodles served warm or cold, but personally, I think having them warm is better.
As for the additional toppings, they weren't really anything special, just your typical ramen toppings. The ramen egg was nice with its jammy yolk, and the beansprouts offered a refreshing crunch to the meal. The chashu wasn't anything special. However, as for the dumplings, I found the skin to be a little too thick for my liking, and they didn't have much filling in them.
Overall, it was a very solid meal. I'd say for how much you're paying, it's pretty worth it. Although I don't think it's the best tsukemen I've ever had as some of the reviews claim it to be, it's still good...
Read moreThe tsukemen here was outstanding. The broth wasn’t overly salty like at many other places; instead, it had a deep, savory flavor that was really well-balanced. I ordered the set that came with pork and egg, and chose the medium portion of noodles. The serving size was perfect—filling but not overwhelming. I noticed the large portion at another table, and it honestly looked like enough for two people, so I’d recommend sticking with medium unless you’re extremely hungry.
When I visited, there was no line and I walked right in, but within minutes, about five groups were waiting behind me. Timing really matters here, so you may need a bit of luck.
A nice touch is that once you’ve finished the noodles, you can ask the chef by saying “soup kudasai.” They’ll give you a warm cup of broth, which you mix into the leftover dipping sauce. It mellows out the saltiness, brings the temperature up to just right, and makes for a satisfying, refreshing finish.
Overall, this was the best tsukemen I’ve ever had, and I highly...
definitely went to the Shibuya store 1000 times. The time when I went the most was about 10 years ago, when it changes to the present price. It may be one of the most addicted people nationwide to the taste of ease. I went through 13 times a week at maximum. I ranked from before OPEN at AM 11, and I was on the first ride like every day. The recommendation is my preference, but it is a hot spring of spicy sauce or spicy tsukemen. The first thing I ordered was "Heavy Height, Hot Spot Double, Heated Heat, Toppings Healthy Vegetables." I'm sorry for the shop, but how to eat tasty delicious meal, put the onions on the counter on Donkey and in the prime, put it in the sagger. Pour a fish meal into a soup, a cup on top of a hot noodle. I will eat the vegetable prime in a separate dish. It will be unusual if the saga is diluted with its moisture. First of all, I'd like you to drink lightly soup. And I'd like you to chew home-made soft azatsu noodles. The taste of the soup is spicy flavored with somewhere in the sweet spicy rice oil, but it is splendid with a deep fish series with Japanese style feeling. The face of Atsuatsu is soft and has sweetness like egg, Shikoshiko. I am happy because it is free even for the middle and high grade. I'd like you to ask me for a soup break if I get it to the end. I want you to drink lightly a sip, which will pour into a cup like a cup of tea.It is deep, it is quite a bit different from the split soup of a noodle shop around that neighborhood. I am sorry to have paid money. Please put soup in sauce, put the soup in the last, adjust to the last fun, your favorite taste, concentration, please sip a noodle left only for a bite. And lastly I want you to drink everything at once. The heyday that I was losing was overwhelming like everyday, and I always miss memories of having the store manager silently tamago. Tsukemen is a national food. Although not too much praise, as an entrance to the Tsukinda world, there is no doubt a honor...
