The chef was extremely generous and patient with us as it was our first time here. We had the peppered cheese as a starter, fried potatoes as an appetizer, pork monjayaki, and pork okonomiyaki. Everything was fantastic! This is definitely a contender for the best okonomiyaki I've ever had. I had the original cocktail named the Midori. It is bright blue and green, takes a while to prepare, and is strong! Pairs perfectly with everything we ordered, and I recommend giving it a shot.

I usually get a two-drink set that comes with two small items (salads I share with my wife).

We were THROWN OUT. Claimed to be open till 2 AM. We were there twice in a week around 8-10 PM and both times we were literally “thrown out” of the place. Never got an answer. This restaurant just refuses to communicate if you’re a foreigner, no matter what color of skin you are. Oh, and both times there were plenty of seats empty.

Simply terrible experiences.

If there’s 0 star, it wouldn’t...

Glad we ignored the reviews about being treated poorly if you are a foreigner - we had an excellent authentic dining experience at this cute little Monjayaki restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and kind, helping us to understand the menu given we speak very little Japanese. Had never tried Monjayaki before but it was really tasty. Kids loved watching it being made at the table....
