A very nice Izakaya inside Shinagawa station (no need to exit the station). With a variety of sake options and delicious pairing food, great place to experience some Japanese delight. Despite it being inside the station, the place was pretty quiet, but is reflected in the check.

The food is good, really really good. But you're here for the sake. They have an excellent selection, and you can easily hours working your way through them to the point where you can't stand up :-) Seriously tho', go with the samplers, and work your way through those. if you know you're sake, its great, if you don't, it's a brilliant introduction. The best part is that you can enjoy sake from each of the 47 prefectures on the small drink menu. The interior is very spacious for a train station, with plenty of seating. However, the number of food items on the menu is a bit limited. It is a good place to go when you really want to have a quick drink. It is a good place to go when you are waiting for the bullet train. The prices of hot sake and sparkling sake are a bit expensive. But I guess they have a lot of rare and valuable sake. In terms of selection, it's great. ちょい飲みメニューで47都道府県それぞれの日本酒をいただくことができるのが醍醐味。 内も駅の中には非常に広く座席数も多い。 ただちょっと商品の食べ物系の品数が少ないかな？本当にちょっと飲みたい時に行くのが良いお店。新幹線の待ち時間とかいいと思います。 熱燗もスパークリングもちょっとお値段は高め。ただ希少価値の高い日本酒が多いのでしょうか。品揃えという意味では素晴らしいです。
