Racines Donut & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Tokyo

Just like donut shops, I'm concerned about shops that take health into account. This time, I visited this place, which mainly sells vegan cookies and also has popular muffins. Generally, vegan breads are expensive because they are particular about the ingredients! However, because this commitment enhances the taste and quality, I often don't think it's expensive. That's why I want to visit and see what I'm capable of! I think so too.

When I arrived at the store, it didn't look like Japan. Looks like it's in America. From the outside of the store to the door, it's amazing. I also like that the eat-in is by the window. There are muffins, pound cakes, cookies, and Scokies lined up at the store, but what about them? What is Scokie? Is it somewhere between a scone and a cookie? Even when I looked it up, it seems like it was a coined word. You can buy cookies online, but others seem to only be available in stores. Anyway, all types look delicious. That's amazing. I bought carrot cake and blueberry banana muffins. When you touch a pound cake or muffin, you can feel the oil on your hands, but the oil itself seems to be a bit low. It's actually gluten-free, but it's so perfect that you won't even notice it. When I asked the staff at the store, they told me that the cocoa banana bullet is popular, but the carrot cake will be sold out the next day. It tastes like carrot cake. really really great donut shop. i visited on a Thursday morning a little after they opened and there was no line. staff are super kind and the girl that was helping me took the time to explain what all of the donuts are and did her best to speak in English when i mentioned i only speak a little Japanese. she was really helpful and i appreciate her taking the time to explain every donut to me and she gave me recommendations as well. i got the chocolate almond cruller, apple fritter, and a strawberry one. all 3 of them were amazing, i wish i could come again. just an FYI that donuts are...

Im going to rate it five stars so they don't get a lower rating. It looked like it got rating bombed. A lot of people may have ruined the experience for the staff and accompanying restaurant so they have weird policies in place. I tried a quick variety of donuts. I would say it's the middle of the road. Better than most but not the best donut in the world. I think it's because I came at around 1 pm? Maybe when it's fresh it becomes much better. Pro tip if you want donuts just tell them it's to go and you're going to the hotel. Get a box. Go for regular flavours not...
