I make a point to stop here every time I come to Japan as this is the very first place I ever had a great bowl of RAMEN.
Sure, there may be better RAMEN places in Japan, but this one is right in the airport, reasonably priced, and fantastic.
Perhaps if you were busy and didn't have time to find a place to eat ramen in Tokyo, or wherever else you are going during your visit to Japan? Well, now that you know about this place you have no excuse to miss your opportunity to eat great ramen.
Particularly if you've never had ramen in Japan before, you absolutely must experience it at least once - this is a "bucket list" item for sure!
OISHIII!!!!!
🍜
(Shown in the photo is TONKOTSU RAMEN w/"all toppings")
Edit: I went back a third time and tried the "Setagaya Ramen" (the #1) and I agree w/some of the other reviews that this one is not very good - it has a strong fishy and slightly bitter taste, like it's made mostly from dried sardines. I don't like that Ramen, but, the TONKOTSU RAMEN is still makes this place worth a five star review - everything else that I've tried here, other than that Setagaya Ramen, has been excellent and the prices are quite b reasonable for being at the airport. (Much better prices than you'll find at an American...
Read moreI had tsukemen on the collaboration menu of Kagetsu Arashi before. This time, I had it on the way back from Haneda.
Since I had only standing-only soba noodles for lunch I had the special Setagaya tsukemen and and a bowl of roasted pork on rice.
The tsukemen is a tsukemono soup made with seafood and soy sauce, which is not too sour. and the noodles are a perfect match!
I didn't feel any difference from the collaboration menu, I felt no difference from the collaboration menu, so I took my hat off to the reproduction of Kagetsu Arashi.
The Aburi Chashu-don (Seared Chashu Pork Bowl) has chashu pork, which is also used in the ramen. I thought it was a small piece or the end of a piece. It was a change of pace, but in a good way.
Since this is an international terminal There were obviously many non-Japanese customers and people with carry-on cases. carrying a carry-on case.
This is not a place to go when you don't have much time to spare, but it is worth going there even if you are not going in and out of the country, It is worth visiting even if you are not going to the airport.
However, it is worth going there even if you are not going in and out of...
Read moreAfter navigating the early morning rush and immigration at Haneda Airport following our flight, we were absolutely famished. Thankfully, Setagaya Ramen was open and we were able to get a seat immediately around 6:30 AM, which was a welcome relief. The ordering process was straightforward and efficient thanks to the kiosk located at the entrance. It made selecting our ramen and any desired toppings quick and easy. For an airport restaurant, the food at Setagaya Ramen was surprisingly good. We had no complaints at all. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked well, and the overall quality was satisfying. They also offer a decent variety of toppings to customize your bowl. The staff were friendly and efficient, fitting for a fast-food style establishment within a busy airport. The service was quick, which was exactly what we needed before continuing our journey. Overall, Setagaya Ramen at Haneda Airport provides a solid and satisfying option for a quick bite. If you find yourself hungry at the airport, especially during the early morning hours, I would definitely recommend stopping by for a decent bowl of ramen. It's a convenient and tasty...
