The Persian Kebabs and braised lamb shank with a Persian Herbed rice were all hits! I forgot the name of the dish but will attach photos. If you enjoy trying new taste sensations, this very unique and special dish is a must! The menu is very eclectic with Indian, Pasta’s and Persian Foods. Normally I don’t trust menus with too many different foods but this place is an exception. Navi, the owner cooks the Persian and Pastas (he is half Iranian and half Italian) and Ali (or Harri?) from Calcutta cooks the Indian food. The Indian food also looked good here but I would recommend the Persian cuisine. Listen to Navi’s recommendations. Navi says his pastas are also great but we didn’t try. I also loved the lamb kebabs, tender, juicy with a very mild lamb flavor. I think even for people who don’t usually like lamb, can enjoy. Of course there are many other kebabs you can try, like beef and chicken. The food and service is very good. My only complaint is that there is no explanation for the Persian Dishes in the menu. Just katakana for the Persian named dishes. I think Navi does this on purpose so he can talk directly with the guests. He is a very friendly person who is passionate about his food offerings. Can highly recommend this place if you want to experience delicious and...
Read moreNot recommended. Poor quality food, rude staff, and the place needs a deep cleaning.
Food: The loobia polo was clearly reheated and tasted old, leftovers from other customers. The kabab barg was by far the worst I’ve ever had — the meat smelled bad, tasted spoiled, and the texture had changed because it had gone off. The kabab koobideh was burnt and inedible. We literally only had one bite of the loobia polo and the kabab barg! Atmosphere & Service: The owner was extremely rude. He stood awkwardly right by our table the entire time, making us uncomfortable. When I quietly told my friend that the meat had gone bad, the owner actually complained that we were “talking too quietly” because he couldn’t hear what we were saying. Instead of addressing our concerns, he made the experience worse.
Overall, this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Between the spoiled food, burnt dishes, and intrusive behavior of the owner, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreWhenever I travel to a new country, I usually try the Iranian restaurants there because I love Iranian food. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my experience at this restaurant for several reasons:
The owner was not friendly at all at first. He just placed our order on the table, quickly walked away without a smile, and even had a frown on his face.
I found a short hair in my salad. From the kitchen door, I could see that the kitchen staff were not wearing any hats or gloves.
The restaurant’s restroom was in very poor condition and had a bad smell, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.
When I ordered tea at the end, the owner served us leftover tea that tasted bad. It wasn’t freshly brewed Iranian tea.
When paying the bill, a small salad that was listed as 700 yen on the menu was charged as 1000 yen.
Overall, the food prices didn’t match the quality of the dishes. It felt very expensive for...
