We were tired after visiting Shibuya and Harajuku area, so would like to have cold nice snack. We visited the very small shop with limited seats and ordered affogato and matcha dango anko soft serve ice-creams. They're all OK, but nothing special for the prices we paid (around ¥ 1,650).

Read moreMy Japanese friend took me there. It's one of these little gem that you found a little deeper inside Shibuya (off the tourist path). Well it was a refreshing surprise. The soft serve ice cream made of Hokkaido milk (reputed region for dairy) was also sinked into fresh milk. A delicacy we enjoyed while catching up. The shop is tiny, there's not much of space to really chill. We stayed on the bench and enjoyed our ice cream on this pretty hot day. Price for this treat...
Read moreA rather unimpressive soft serve shop in Northern Shibuya. This place serves tall peaks of plain soft serve, but despite the height, fails to impress. The texture is full of ice crystals and not smooth at all. You can order it though served with a sugary molasses syrup, which I ordered, which helps it some. But overall, the impression is still not great.
