Don't typically opt for Starbucks. It's like McDonald's, the thought of it disgust me most of the year and then I will crave it. Usually meeting that craving reminds me why it disgust me most of the time. This visit was no exception. I fell for the marketing of the festive pistachio Christmas tree drink. I watched them steam milk and add the artificial flavoring. When they handed me the drink I pointed out that they forgot to add the coffee. My mistake. This six dollar glass of milk doesn't come with coffee. They smiled real big as if to say we have screwed thousands with the same gimmick today. They then invited me to stand in the long line again and pay for a shot of espresso to add to my drink, while they let it sit there on the counter and get cold.
