An executive chef's review
I have lived in Japan, and studied cooking in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA and Mexico... I can honestly say this is some of the best sushi in that area.
The cuts are served at a perfect size and temperature. The presentation is spot on.
The cooked dishes are delicious and hot. The eel tempura is a must try. A very light and full flavor.
One of the best tamagoyakis I have tried. My restaurant makes a great tamagoyaki, but this one is in a class of its own.
A must try for sure.

English was not well spoken by the Sir of sushi so i was being given things i didnt enjoy like raw shrimp (i asked at the beginning no raw shrimp to the lady). Was over priced for what i ate, sashimi was a bit poor little fish and more sea food , tempura doesnt have the right consistence, salad of sashimi was tasteless. Read moreMy family and I were staying locally, and were looking for a sushi restaurant, and how lucky were we to find this place. We didn’t have a reservation, but the chefs were happy to prepare a set meal for us. All courses were delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Some of the staff could speak some English, and were very helpful and welcoming. The “boss” thanked us at the end, and I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and looking for a genuine neighbourhood...
