My family and I went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but the service could be better as we had two waiters, one who was a lovely Japanese woman and another quite rude (possibly Chinese) man. Food: Complementary cold tea! This was my first time having cold soba and I thoroughly recommend it! Once I finished, I drank every last drop of the soba water + sauce. Deliciously refreshing especially during 36°c weather. Great selection of pickles, tempura and drinks. There were vegetarian options available and everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and served in a timely manner. Atmosphere: Beautiful restaurant. We had our own Tatami room and the route to the bathroom is stunningly decorated. It was lively without being too loud. Service and price: Truly excellent food for 4 adults came to ¥7,700. For the kid, we ordered Salmon Aburi. Actually it wasn't on the menu. The menu only offers Salmon Sashimi, but since it was for the kid, the restaurant agreed to broil the salmon and thoughtfully asked us if we wanted to take out the wasabi.
The service was also responsive and one waitress spoke very good English. There were plenty of requests and queries that would've otherwise been lost in translation if it weren't...
Read moreVery helpful staff and well located - I liked the little rooms it was so traditional Japanese
They do have the traditional rooms where you take your shoes off and they also have the rooms that are more like booths (with tables and chairs for westerners haha)
The food was great the restaurant really large and as everyone is in their own little areas you had a buzzer to press to get service
The kitchen area was huge and food was delicious

Well worth a visit - great restaurant with good food
