Sushi Zanmai Roppongi Lapiros — Restaurant in Tokyo

I felt like trying good quality sushi, but had no idea where to go to enjoy my meal without getting nervous about menu, order and location. I have been recommended Sushi Zanmai Roppongi Lapiros. I like that it is located literally right to the left from Oedo Line Roppongi Station exit 3! No need to worry about finding it! I often get tired and mood switch if I struggle with location, so that was a relief to me! And it takes only 10 minutes from Shinjuku. They have website in English so I choosed my favorite sushi and checked prices before going there! They have best service, so if you go? trust me you can be sure to have most authentic experience and relax in a very bright and specious restaurant. And of course the sushi! So fresh delicious with proper size! I suggest you to take counter seat to watch how chef will prepare your sushi! This time I had 13 different types of sushi of "Special Sushizanmai" and I liked it a lot! The tea refill was very nice and soup portion is big! I will go there with friends next time, very suitable for a group meal...

Story time: A dark, near freezing Thursday night in Roppongi. My wife and I growing weary from trying to find a nearby sushi spot that is (1) cheap-ish, and (2) doesn’t require reservations. We’re getting hangrier by the minute and our constitutions are wearing thin, especially since we’ve constantly heard that “it’s so easy to find cheap sushi in Tokyo!” We see Sushi Zanmai on Yelp, and decide to make our way there.

Arriving off the street, we were initially confused since we were unsure which floor the restaurant was on, or how to get there, but decided to walk around the corner to the stairway where we see more signs for the restaurant.

Walking in, we felt a warm, welcoming presence of light and coziness. The staff greeted us immediately, and sat us immediately. The food was so simple to order through a QR code on my phone, and it came out so quickly and was the freshest fish we’ve both had in so long. And it’s so cheaply priced!

This will be a staple for us every time we come to visit Tokyo, and can’t wait to be...

Unsure of the low ratings - I personally had a pleasant experience here. I came in off the street at random on a saturday night and was seated almost immediately and had a drink brought to me with speed too. Despite me speaking very little Japanese, my waitress was very accommodating and friendly.

The food was easily purchased via a QR linked directly to my table. I tried a variety of different sushi and including my drink, it only came to ¥2,634, which is extremely reasonable for how delicious and filling the food was!

If I lived locally, I'd make this place a weekly visit easily. 100%...
