An amazing experience. We originally booked the omakase but the a la carte menu looked so delicious, we had to order. The cool thing is, the price was still roughly the same as if we did an omakase. The seafood was so fresh and the black sushi rice was perfectly chewy. Hot dishes were delicious as well. The salted duck is quite salty so keep that in mind, but was still a great order.

Drinks were so much better than expected, got a milk drink flavored lemon sour and the yuzu cocktail/sake(?) was excellent.

Service was perfect, I really enjoyed my time there and didn’t feel rushed at all. The restaurant is a little on the small side but definitely still comfortable if not a little hot.

Pro tip- there’s the cleanest and coolest public bathroom just a 3 minute walk away if you don’t want to squeeze into the small one in the restaurant. Highly recommend walking...

The food was tasty and the service was good. The real problems I had were - people on Instagram were saying if you go there during 4PM seating time, the sushi omakase would be cheaper. We booked at 4:30 but it was not. The waitress said we have to use a coupon to get the special rate, but we didn’t have any. My husband ordered AYCD package and I pointed out to the waitress I wanted iced green tea a la cart because I do not drink alcohol. She charged us both AYCD for ¥2,000 per person at the end, citing all you can drink has to be applied to everyone in the party. I was not happy because she never said anything to me when I specifically ordered the ice tea a la cart. Had I known it I would not only ordered two iced teas, thinking they were ¥600 each. I would...

Such an incredible experience. We booked the lunch omakase experience at 4:00pm so it was a cheaper price! It wasn’t busy at all and we got a great seat at the bar where we could watch the chefs at work. Fairly extensive drink menu.

My favourite was the scallop or the egg souffle from the menu we had. Unfortunately I found one of my pieces extremely salty, and I was also not a fan of the squid as it was very chewy, but that’s just personal preference! It did get hot towards the end of our experience so that is something to keep note of if you’re not good with heat.

All of the staff were very kind, took the time to explain each dish to us, and most of them could speak English! I am very happy that I went here for my first...
