Sushizanmai Shinkan — Restaurant in Tokyo

Another outlet of the famous sushi chain in Japan. This outlet is just across the road from the outer fish market. First time trying this restaurant despite my many visits to Japan. It was a good choice.

The prices are very affordable and not “tourist” marked-up prices. The quality of the food was fresh. The quantities were sufficient for me too. The steam egg was good. The sushi was fresh and excellent in quality! Service was good too. Good to have a sushi meal before leaving Japan.

Great place with quality fish at affordable prices. The rice seasoning and the cutting technique is not as sophisticated as the Michelin starred places I’ve been, but the quality of the fish is equivalent in my opinion. I only saw locals eating here on a Saturday early evening and the service was attentive. The set menus are in English and the nigiri selection too. I would recommend to use the google translate app with the camera because the specials are only in Japanese and they contain a seasonal gems...

Excellent location just outside of the Tsukii fish market, but avoiding all the crowd at and around the market. The staff was attentive. Had sushi set dinner with a plate of eel overdrive and miso soup. The sushi was very fresh, miso soup was delicious, and the eel was excellent, even my 8 year old...
