Tonkatsu Wako Takumian Isetan Shinjuku — Restaurant in Tokyo

Stumbled upon this tonkatsu place while shopping at Isetan! 💖 I would definitely say it has to be one of the best Tonkatsu I've ever tasted. Admittedly, the place and price is a bit more posh than your usual tonkatsu fare but it's well worth the experience! 💖

All the side dishes (including rice and miso soup) are refillable. But with how heavy the set already was, we were not able to avail of this perk. You have a variety of sets you can choose from.

The pork loin was very tender yet crispy on the outside. It was not oily at all, which some Katsu places make the mistake of. Admittedly, the 150g was too much for me though. You have the option to buy in grams according to your appetite.

The service was wonderful and the place was beautiful! It was not too busy when we were seated for lunch around 2pm

It was a truly wonderful experience for us and i definitely recommend this katsu place to people who want to try a classier...

首先东西非常的不好吃 不要对这家店抱有任何的期望，游客永远不会吃到热的食物，都是冷掉的。 店员种族歧视不说，还让排在游客后面的日本人插队到游客前面，然后对所有游客说今天不继续接待了，但是我们依旧看见有好几对日本人进去。

箭头指的是插队的其中几个没素质的人 这家店的员工都在正常工作，唯独那个经理到处乱叫，时不时还讲日语粗口，你绝对没有丝毫体验感。

Ordered the kagoshima black thick cut pork and a large prawn and a fried oyster. The oyster was fairly tasteless, but I think that's due to the frying. Prawn was slightly over cooked but had a great sweet flavor. The pork was good and with the sides of pickles and mustard it was tasty, but the pork wasn't as flavorful as I had expected.
