The food was very tasty, classic japanese, izakaya style, highly recommend the wings, everything is delicious. Unfortunately the staff weren't fans of foreigners seemingly, despite the fact I was talking to them in japanese 😆 even though I explained to them my problem IN japanese using text book japanese skill they still insisted on using Google translate as if I wasn't even speaking a language they could understand. Finally, an English speaking staff approached me and I could explain my problem in English AND Japanese(lol) it was completely embarrassing for me because I've never had a problem with ordering food and drinks, or generally surviving in japan in the last 5 years. After the mess around with them screwing up our order, they cut us off and kicked us out. Which is embarrassing for them because if they gave us what we ordered in the first place there wouldn't have been any problems, we left hungry and disappointed and still not receiving the 2 drinks we order. We went to torikizoku which were amazing. Food wasn't as good, but the staff spoke to me in japanese as I was them, no problems, no...

The WORST dining experience in Tokyo!

We’ve ordered a curry udon tonight but it was undercooked that the udon was hard and white inside. Then we told this situation to the waiter. The waiter took away our udon and asked the chef about the situation but turned back to tell us the udon is fine to eat. It is ridiculous and unacceptable to let the customer eat the undercooked food and refuse to re-cook again! Also, the waiter collided with us few times without any apologies .. !

A decent izakaya chain store in Shinjuku that's open 24/7. My friends and I visited late in the evening and chose the smoking area, which had plenty of seats and only allowed electronic smoking, making it feel like a regular seating area.
