Tully’s Coffee - Tekko Building — Restaurant in Tokyo

If you want to get a fix from Starbucks, but could not find one. This might be a place for you.

The layout is very similar to an average Starbucks even how they name sizes of their coffee.

I ordered a drip coffee. She offered to pour in a ceramic cup, which was a nice touch. But I ordered to go. I did not see how she poured the coffee; judging by her speed, it was probably from a ready made pot. I was there 5 minutes after it opened so it did not matter.

Coffee was strong and fresh. A bit too bitter for me. I guessed that maybe it was dark roasted. The milk counter was small and had no real milk. Just sugar, syrup and cream in small containers like ones you find in 7-Eleven or other convenient stores. I think the biggest improvement they made is to provide real milk like Starbucks does.

Anyway, if you like real milk in your coffee like I do, you can get milk in Lawson convenient store upstairs. With real milk, coffee was taste pretty good.
