Even though we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, they were still willing to accept us and provided us a genuine experience with fresh sushi, and generous portions and ingredients — all for a very affordable price. I particularly loved the quiet confidence of the dedicated chef as he prepared the sushi sets behind the counter — from what I understand, he has had 58 years of experience. Would love to visit this sushi place again!

Hard to find. Look for the hair cutting place, go upstairs on the left of it and the door is first on right. Sushi was excellent. Owner has been making sushi for 58 years and told lots of stories about famous manga authors that came there. I think. He doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Japanese, so it was a lot of guessing. Very authentic place. Set sushi plate was 2200 yen

Real Japanese sushi experience! We spent here our last night in Tokyo, such a good choice! To find the place you need to go to the first floor of the building indicated by Google Maps..don't be scared! The place is run by the chef and his wife. It is cosy and offers great quality at great prices! Couldn't recommend more 🇯🇵

Amazing traditional Japanese experience! The chef and his wife run the place together and he brings many years of experience (and it shows).

It might seem confusing at first but go through the doors that say CIN at the top and turn right and enter the doors to get inside

They only offer a set menu and it can take some time but it is truly worth the wait. The food is fresh and the service is even better - you...

Wonderful experience! After reviewing several of the local Sushi restaurants, what stood out about Unomaru were the many comments about the excellent service and friendly owners. The couple who run the restaurant have been in the business for 60 years and it really shows!! The quality was top notch and the ambiance was excellent. By and far the best sushi I’ve ever had! ...
