We were welcomed by both friendly staff and customers alike, in such a neat, tidy and beautiful restaurant. We ordered the beef tongue, konjac balls (sorry I forget their Japanese name!!), vegetables, soba, fried potato and omelette. Every dish was delicious; flavours were incredible, portions were perfect and presentation immaculate. I wish we had ordered one of everything. Great sashimi, fresh vegetable, satisfying udon, SUPERB service... There were interesting dishes like cod milt; NOT for the faint-hearted.

It was a blessing in disguise when we were asked to exit an izakaya because they didn't have an English menu for us. HAKO didn't have one too, but they were very patient as we struggled with using Google Translate (that was how the cod milt happened). Eventually we sorted out the translation when we realize we had better connectivity...

Very delicious food, the manager came and said to us only Japanese menu and then walk away without even care that we can order or not we have to find ourself an english menu on the website.
