Came here based on people’s recommendation on Raddit. Very disappointed as one of the woman staff was extremely rude. My partner ordered a beer as I don’t drink, but i feel bad if I didn’t order anything. So I ordered a plate of falafel.

I was drinking water from my bottle while eating falafel, and a middle-aged women staff came over to told me off by saying “You should not bring your own drink as we are running a business. If want to drink water you should order from us”.

We understand that business needs to operate and make money, but I seldom experience this kind of rude attitude from bar/restaurant staff. It’s not like I didn’t order anything (I went to order a plate of falafel after putting my things down).

This is our first time and definitely the last time. Do...

Revisit update Enjoyed the gypsy guitar music with several pts of beer and tapas dishes such as chips, nachos and small pizza, thanks! The upstairs lounge is fantastic.

—- —- Because of the band gigs they put on nightly, this place was probably the noisiest pub I’ve ever been to, including my ancient time back in UK. But I enjoyed the chaotically lovely atmosphere there so much, actually. To assimilate into the place under such a band music, you may need to be tiddly even before there already and give up the idea of discussing something while drinking. The tablets, beers, foods and regulars, they were all good and fun. Sorry, this time, my review is dad since I’m...

I appreciate the authentic feel of a British pub, even the nastiness of the fish n chips was appropriate for the occasion and was very reminiscent of proper London pub. Sometimes we all need this. However, the reason for low score and why I am not going back there is that I saw a baby cockroach crawling across my table... in the middle of January! This suggests that there is a severe infestation problem that hasn't been dealt with. I can't even imagine what's going on in the kitchen. I appreciate the tired look, but I reckon they make enough revenue from 1000 yen pints to allocate a bit of budget for brining the hygiene level up to...

It’s a big live house, with a second floor, still overlooking the stage, so you can still watch the performance on stage. There’s variety of food, desserts and drinks that you can choose from, and depending on the time of day/night, or event, customers can come with their kids. It has a very friendly atmosphere. You can definitely enjoy your stay, while having scrumptious food with great music.

The best British Pub in town. Huge drink selection. Big stage, Live music, friendly regulars and visitors alike mix in. The food is awesome and great value. Pies, pizzas, vege options. Prices haven't changed for years as owners want to keep the popular vibe and community feel. No smoking policy now in place (you can smoke upstairs if you really need a fix) which makes a huge improvement.
