yakiniku futago Tsukiji（bbq japanese） — Restaurant in Tokyo

I have been to many different branches of this chain, and usually my experience is really good. However, the Tsukiji branch was a particularly awful experience.

Firstly, when I entered the shop, there wasn't anyone that greeted me. The staff just all stared awkwardly at me until I told them I had a reservation. I don't know if there was some kind of auditor there from the corporate side, but the vibe of the entire restaurant was terrible, and the staff was all focusing on one customer (who appeared to be an auditor). Three different staff members explained the concept of the restaurant and the menu to the same single customer.

Secondly, there was no towel given to our table, but was given to all other tables. I requested and the staff gave it to me. The food also took a long time to come out.

Lastly, our table had a very weak gas flow. Shop manager came out and said "the flame is weak but the grill is still hot". I think that's a ridiculous thing to say to a customer. If the table isn't perfect for use, don't sit customers there. Another staff member came over to our table and fixed the weak gas flow eventually.

Overall, I would say that this branch of futago is a very poor representation of what I usually experience at other branch locations. I'll still go to futago, but I will never go to this branch again. The staff is simply too...

hidden gem yakiniku in tsukiji all the meat was great, i recommend the pork neck & wagyu karubi for me, the thick tongue is a bit overpriced but tasted amazing👍🏻 service was great! the staff were friendly and helpful. they have a good english menu for non-japanese speakers. i love their potato salad and original yogurt drink! will definitely come back in the future. edit: ended up eating here 3 times throughout my trip. as recommended by the staff, i tried the cow's small intestine. it was quite the experience and i would order more next time. do try their special...

went there with a reservation, arrived on time. Then the nightmare began. First they missed one of my orders, I waited for about 20 minutes then checked with the waiter. I ordered more meat, two orders of the same plate, but only one plate came. I waited for another 30 minutes for the second plate to come but finally gave up and decided to leave. They also messed up my bill. I had to ask them correct it. It was mentally exhausting. The lettuce I ordered is not fresh either, but at that point it was too much...
