The service of that the chef (i.e., the man who prepared the dish and cooked the meat in front of us) provides is the worst I have ever seen. Worst among many experiences I had for dining outside, and also among my first trip to Japan while most others are so nice. These are main reasons: 1. He dropped the food residual on the table and splashed the source to one of friend's clothes. This happened but without any words with manners; 2. He forgot our preferences are two well-done while the rest are medium. He served all medium and only recalled when reminded; 3. He constantly talked to his student when he prepared the meat. There is no engagement to guests at all and there is no any forms of explanations why our chef is multi-tasking while serving the meal; 4. When he heard we wanted a glass of water without ice. He gave a super surprise look and we had to explain and repeat why no ice; 5. He serve with a commanding tone which is very annoying.
This is our final meal for our trip to Japan. It is ... frustrating one among all meals we had before and definitely worst for this...
Read moreThe food is ok, but the service is terrible and the environment not worth the price. Won’t recommend going unless you like rude service and eating in a place hot like sauna.
The room is super hot. They keep the grill on even not cooking, and the cook was serving multiple tables so you have to wait for long time between each dishes, letting the fire to heat you up. Plus the room is small and not well-ventilated. I was wearing my undershirt when they serving the final dish.
The server just doesn’t like you. He has that kind of master chef attitude it is almost like you don’t deserve his food and service. He is always angry or in bad mood you wonder what you did wrong.
Don’t even think about raising special dietary request. One of us has medical condition on that day and has to avoid raw food. It seems like it’s a huge trouble to the server, he just keeps serving half-cooked food. Kindly raise the request again? He just put up long face like you did something wrong again. We almost...
Read moreI recently visited a high-end Japanese restaurant, expecting a luxurious dining experience, but was left extremely disappointed. From the beginning, the staff rushed us to finish each dish as quickly as possible. While I understand that sashimi is best enjoyed at a cold temperature, the service felt hurried and pressured, not allowing us to savor the meal properly.
Dishes were brought out all at once, overwhelming the table and making it difficult to appreciate each course individually. Even before we finished our dessert, the staff presented the bill, making it clear they wanted us to leave.
To make matters worse, the quality of the food did not meet expectations — the uni in particular was not fresh, which was very disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. Overall, this meal fell far short of what it should have been, and I left feeling rushed, unsatisfied, and regretting...
