Yellow — Restaurant in Tokyo

Visited around 9 am on a Tuesday morning to dine in. It was moderately busy, but I was able to order and sit down right away.

There are a variety of food options and coffee drinks to choose from; I ordered a ham and arugula croissant sandwich with an iced caramel latte. I appreciate how you can change to soy milk at no extra cost, which is great for those who don’t drink cow milk (oat milk is an additional ¥100) The drink was on the sweeter side, but very tasty, and was great with my savory sandwich. I wonder if it might be too sweet paired with a different food option, but it worked out well for me. The sandwich had nice and fresh-tasting ingredients, and the croissant was nice and flaky.

This place definitely knows how to make good coffee. It's a small shop that just opened another branch in Kokazawa Koen, and it seems they take coffee seriously, which you can spot right away from their fancy machine and large staff (4 people in the morning shift on 5-6 tables). The result is success of course: coffee is excellent, croissant was just right, service is quick and attentive (yet not really friendly). Thw seating and ambiance are good with lots of natural sunlight from the big windows and the place is also nicely designed with a long bar enabling efficient kitchen work and high ceilings allowing for more space and good air circulation. ・三軒茶屋駅(もしくは池尻大橋駅)から徒歩約15分、高級住宅街のある世田谷区代沢にひっそり佇む「Yellow」さん。

・休日のお昼時にふらりと立ち寄らせていただきました。

・席数が多くはないので、場合によっては外でちょっとだけ待つこともありそうでしたが、今回は運よくすぐに入店出来て着座。

・カウンターに並べられた美味しそうなクロワッサンに惹かれつつも、がっつりブリトーを注文。ホットドックも捨てがたかったです。。。

Green Curry Rice Burrito(グリーンカレーライス ブリトー) 780円 ∟グリーンカレー/鶏ひき肉/ターメリックライス/ナス/ピーマン/オニオンスライスなどを包んだホットブリトー

・今回は、グリーンカレーライスとホットタコミートを注文。うーん、どちらも美味しい！

・グリーンカレーは思っていたより、味が濃すぎません。結構さらっといただける逸品でした。ブリトーにライス、という驚きの組合せでしたが、これがイケます！満足感をアップさせてくれますね。

・ホットタコミートは、思っていた通りのパンチある逸品！スパイシーさと野菜のシャキシャキ感がたまりません。グリーンカレー→ホットタコミートの順に食べたほうが、それぞれの良さがわかる感じでした。

・どちらのブリトーにもフレッシュ野菜をふんだんに使ってくれていらっしゃるのがとても素敵。パンチとととにヘルシーさを与えてくれる大満足ランチでした。

・また、ブリトーは包み紙からとっても取りやすい設計がされており、食べ歩きにも非常に向いていると思いました。天気の良い日には、こちらでお持ち帰り注文して、三軒茶屋までブリトーをほおばりながらお散歩するのも素敵だなぁと想起させてくれました。とても満足したランチタイムを過ごさせていただきました。ご馳走様でした。
