goodspoon みなとみらい店 — Restaurant in Yokohama

Not good and pricey. Service is terrible.

(Review in English from local) This restaurant advertises their home-made cheese as the main selling point. It makes up for 10% of what you eat and is disappointing. The rest is average, mediocre food and I would question if it wasn't ready-made. Because of that home-made cheese point, they double their lunch price so I call it a rip-off.

About the cheese, really it's just cream cheese, ricotta, that sort of stuff you can make easily. You won't get some aged cheese in there or anything that really excite your senses.

They offer a lunch at 1,800 yens (drinks excluded). The starter is a buffet (you serve yourself), which average salad food. In the middle of that salad bar was hot cabbage that did not work at all and a tomato sauce pasta that felt like it came from can.

The main dishes were alright but nothing stellar (had salmon fry, chicken tandoori and Risotto).

Finally, the service was poor. At the beginning, we were all rounded up with other customers to get a menu explanation, it felt like a school trip or going to Disneyland. Our main dishes came each with a 8 to 10 minutes gap so no effort was made on timing.

At half price, it would be ok...

I came here 2 times. Durung dinner time, the atmosphere was really relaxed. The view by the bay gives it some extra points.

Now, food wise, pasta was decent and worst one was pizza. Carbonara, taste wise, wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really taste like carbonara. The Margherita pizza had way too much tomato sauce, making it fall apart easily. In the bread assortment, they even included toast? Don't think it pairs up well with cheese.

The burrata and truffle pasta were definitely the saviors of dinner. Service was extremely attentive and friendly so props to that!

みなとみらいの赤レンガ倉庫のすぐ近くにある 商業施設「マリン＆ウォーク」の2階にある チーズ工房併設レストラン「good spoon」です☝️

とにかくフレッシュチーズがおいしくて、 チーズ好きにぜひ行って欲しいので しっかりとレビューしていきますね☺️❤️

お店は施設の2階にあり、海が目の前にどーん！ 店内は木々や緑が程よくありつつ、白のタイルや アイアンの小物類がめちゃくちゃかわいくてツボ😍

こんなに広々としていて、目の前に絶景が見えて、 それでもって女子受け抜群の空間のお店って 横浜にはないし、むしろ都内でも絶対にない‼️ アメリカの西海岸あたりにありそうなお店です🌟
