Good food and good service, lovely ambience and clean fresh environment. I’m on a quest to find real loco moco and whilst this place is not overly authentic they do not compromise on the flavor which is very good. They use a mixture of Pork & Beef (we asked)…. This is always disappointing as it should be beef or at least 80% beef in my opinion. The garlic shrimp gives you an amazing punch of heavy flavor whilst a little on the salty side, I appreciate the boldness. It was a rather long wait for me around 1p on a Saturday, that’s my only real complaint. The waitlist moved slowly. I saw empty tables by the windows that they eventually filled but it took a long time; I don’t know if they’re understaffed or something, that might be why. Fun place at the cruise terminal. Very tourist focused. The souffle pancakes are incredible and priced well. Just be prepared to wait a bit as they take about 20 to 30 minutes.
