Kamakura Pasta MARK IS Minatomirai — Restaurant in Yokohama

I've been to this restaurant in a different location many decades ago, and I don't remember how it was... seeing a line of people waiting, we decided to try. I had the simple fresh basil and tomato sauce with fresh fettuccine , and my husband had the shrimp and avocado pesto sauce with fettuccine. oh my oh my what a strange tomato sauce I have ever had! it had no tomato taste, more like sugary miso? or something I could not describe. Simply weird. pasta was good consistency though. my husband couldn't figured my dish taste either. His dish was so so. Breads were typical Japanese snack breads.. Dessert was "Catalana", it was really hard to eat it since the texture was harder than icecream. we thought why was it frozen?? But then after finding out that " in Japan " it's supposed to be frozen ... bizarre I would never going...

It was lunch time so the restaurant was a bit busy but I didn’t really wait long for my order. I decided to try Kamakura pasta (set 3-with drinks and 3 pieces of bread) the pasta was not the best. It was bland. The only flavor I could taste was the weird sour after taste. It looks good but I hope the sauce was thick and creamy. It was watery/liquidy like I was eating a noodle soup.The selection of breads were mid too. I’m glad I didn’t choose the all-you-can-eat for bread. I hope they really take the survey well and...

Really tasty pasta! The infinite bread is only ¥330 more, and it's baked fresh. Nice and fluffy bread, with over 6 different types of breads being offered at different times. You could also get a salad with your combo instead. The pasta itself was really good. I got a cream sauce with sun-dried tomatoes.
