🍣 There’s no better way to end a day of exploring than with sushi and sashimi, and we found the perfect spot at Megumi Suisan in Mark Is Minato Mirai. This delightful conveyor belt sushi restaurant offered a fun and casual dining experience that was fresh, delicious, and ideal for the whole family.
From the moment we sat down, the kids were excited to see the plates of sushi gliding by on the conveyor belt. Each dish was beautifully presented, and it was hard not to grab everything that caught our eye! The sushi was incredibly fresh, with a wide variety of options ranging from classic favorites like tuna and salmon to more unique selections that showcased the quality of Japanese seafood. The sashimi was equally outstanding, with slices so fresh they practically melted in our mouths.
The restaurant had a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, making it a great choice for families. The staff were attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, and the process of ordering from the tablet was seamless and fun for the kids to try.
Megumi Suisan’s location in Mark Is Minato Mirai also made it super convenient after a day of exploring the area. It was the perfect spot to refuel and reflect on the day’s adventures while enjoying some of the best sushi Yokohama has to offer.
If you’re in Minato Mirai, I highly recommend stopping by Megumi Suisan for a memorable sushi experience. Whether you’re a seasoned sushi lover or introducing your kids to this Japanese favorite, it’s a wonderful way to cap...
Read moreThe level of the sushi here is a tad bit above the big chains like Sushiro / Kurazushi but so is the price.
There's constantly people waiting outside that there are seats for you to sit.
I like that they have a selection of mugs you can choose from. It gives me a little smile in the beginning.
Service is friendly and fast. You can start taking the sushi going around right when you are seated. They don't have an iPad for you to custom order but they ask you to fill out a piece of paper and the workers usually notice your order right when you raise your hand up.
I wish there were a bit more cheaper selection or just more selections in general on the conveyor belt. The dishes start around 130 yen, but you won't see those. You'll see a small selection going 260-560yen. You can...
Read moreSimply delicious! Menu has plenty of variety, easy to navigate ordering system, and a seat in front of the chefs is highly recommended. Witnessing the coordination between the team of chefs elevates the experience.
The usual is available at each seat; hot water tap for green tea, soy sauce etc. and plenty of space between you and other guests should it get crowded.
Visited twice and both times fish was very fresh, not too crowded, and the daily specials offer a good place to start.
Location is on the 4th floor in what I believe was the food court section. It was easy to find from the MarkIs mall entrance, but going off Google Maps, was confusing.
Will revisit for sure,...
