Taiyo hoe-ru Noge Honten — Restaurant in Yokohama

Real down to earth izakaya feel, very Showa style. Themed around the Yokohama Baystars back when they were still called the Whales, and had their best run. The atmosphere was great, everyone was laughing, smiling and having a good time.

The staff were super attentive and really on the ball. Orders were quickly taken and brought out.

The food was just so nice! All relatively simple izakaya fare, but somehow tasted incredible. We tried 3 types of gyoza (boiled, deep fried, pan fried), cheese mochi (called モチーズ on the menu, and flattened out like a pancake), ham and cheese burrito, onion and coriander salad, and a few other bits, washed down with Premium Malts.

昔からよく使うお店。 餃子は美味しいし、ビールもハイボールも進む。 野毛初のメンバーを連れて行きたくて6名で訪問したのですが、週末の昼間なので？「6名は入れませんね」、「並んで待っていただいても入れませんね」、と、とても嫌な感じで対応されてしまい、お店を変えました。。 （過去に何度か5、6人で入れたのですが、まるで人が変わったかのようなお店の塩対応で暫く行かなくても良いなと思ってしまいまた。。。） 通りに面した立ち席とかも空いているのに、融通が効かないというか、感じが悪いというか。。。 ただただ残念です。

ホエールの大目玉焼き5を いただきました。 目玉焼きの下に 味がついたキャベツが 入っているので、 目玉焼きと一緒に 食べて下さいね。 なので、味つけをしなくて そのまま食べるのが、食べ方です。 ※目玉焼きは、5個まで 同じ価格なんですよ。

横浜モダン焼きを いただきました。 豚肉、キャベツを魚粉で仕上げた お好み焼き好きには たまらない逸品。 横浜に来たからには、 食べないとね。

野毛本店の焼餃子を いただきました。 中は、ジューシー、 外は、パリッとした 一口サイズの餃子。 まずは、そのまま食べて、 餃子本来の味を味わってからの 醤油につけて食べると 1度に2度、味を楽しめます。

肉豆腐をいただきました。 じっくりと煮込んだ 牛すじと牛タンの肉の旨みが 豆腐に染み込み、 肉豆腐好きにはたまらない逸品。

ドリンクは、ヤシキサワー、 ラミちゃんハイボールを 飲みました。 ヤシキサワーは、 ジンシャエールサワー。 ラミちゃんハイボールは、 コーヒー風味のハイボール。 ラミちゃんの故郷がベネズエラで、 コーヒーの産地だから、 コーヒー風味のハイボールを 作ったそうです。 初めて、コーヒー風味のハイボールを 飲みました。 コーヒー、ハイボール好きにオススメ。
