My sisters and I visited Urban Point during Eid week and I must admit, we were impressed. We found the space to be airy and spacious with comfortable seats and a sizable table.

Service

The waiters here take their time to serve you and are patient regardless of the number of times one changes their order. They offer food recommendations and are honest about the food portions, which we highly appreciated. They also check in with you if you're happy with the order and are keen to caution you if the food is hot.

Portions

The food portion is certainly generous and filling. We ordered two servings of periperi chips, one chicken tikka and one urban mixed grill. The meats were served while still sizzling hot, and well cooked. We however enjoyed the urban mixed grill more as it gave us a chance to taste a variety of meats.

Taste

The meals were tasty and well seasoned. We especially enjoyed the fish from the mixed grill, I would recommend trying a fish meal if you would be interested. My sister found the periperi chips to be a bit too hot for her, so you might want to state the level of heat you can manage. We didn't enjoy the plain fries that came with the urban mixed grill because some were undercooked. The chicken tikka was okay, not too exciting.

Overall experience

I would revisit Urban Point and try other meals on their menu. I liked how they categorised their meals according to cuisines and how fairly priced they are. Give it a try and see if it will match your palate...

It is an amazing place that is well laid out and organize.
