This charming juice bar on Rue des Français in Vientiane is a real hidden gem with an ideal location just a short walk from Sihom Night Market. It’s become a sensation on social media, drawing young locals and visitors alike – particularly South Koreans, though you’ll spot plenty of Europeans, Americans, and Japanese tourists too. I stumbled upon it after seeing rave reviews online and decided it was well worth a try.
The drinks here are on the pricier side compared to the night market, but the quality justifies the cost. I’d highly recommend the avocado smoothie, priced at 50,000 kip. The taste is exquisite a perfect blend of creamy avocado with a hint of sweetness that’s neither overwhelming nor bitter. It’s refreshingly rich and smooth, a unique flavour that stands out from typical street offerings.
The shop itself spans two floors, and the upstairs area offers a particularly relaxing retreat. You’ll find tatami seating, ideal for unwinding in comfort while enjoying the strong air conditioning a blessing in the Lao heat. Do keep in mind that the upstairs area is quiet, as most guests here seem absorbed in their own world, either reading or working. It’s a calm, respectful atmosphere that invites you to savour your drink in peace.
Overall, this juice bar is a delightful stop for anyone looking to experience the café culture in Vientiane. Whether you’re here to indulge in a superb smoothie or simply to escape the hustle of the night market, it’s definitely...

I went here after watching all the nice reviews here.
Let´s see what people wrote:
"Best restaurant in Vientiane" So, the people writing this can´t be for real. Have they ever left their hotel room at all? The food was good but most definitely nothing special. I also had the falafel pita, like some other people here and, sure, it was good but it was by far NOTHING SPECIAL.
"Good value for money/low price" This is just not true, the prices compared to most other restaurants/places, as long as you walk 2-3 minutes away from the tourist streets are AT LEAST 50% lower. But id say it´s more like 75% cheaper in other restaurants. Especially if you go for local food.
"Staff was very friendly, great service" Here I agree. The service was really nice, compared to most other places ive been to so far here in Laos.
Summary: This is just a regular "tourist restaurant" The prices are about 2-3 USD for a smoothie and 3-5 USD for a meal. Overall I wouldnt go here again and I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here, unless they "just want something quickly and don´t really care about...

The Chicken Baguette Sandwich was very satisfying – a good portion and the chicken was well-prepared. But the true standout for me, my absolute favorite, were the Fresh Spring Rolls. They were incredibly fresh, packed with vibrant vegetables and herbs, and had that perfect light and healthy feel. The dipping sauce complemented them beautifully. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients they use.
