Nice pub and the food is pretty good too but only 3 stars as the service is quite poor, almost felt like a burden when needing another round of drinks. I mean, it's a busy enough place but not busy enough for 3 members of staff to hang around talking to each other whilst using their phones, we waited ages to get served in between rounds.
It seemed like there was a bit of confusion in communication between staff too as we were given cutlery for our food then had it taken away, then our food arrived and it was almost like it was our fault that the cutlery had vanished, the whole experience was.....interesting to say the least.

Read moreIt has many different beers, but mostly boring lager. There is food. Loads of screens for sport. But everything is just done 80%. You cannot call yourself "Beer House No.1" and slack on anything. There needs to be much more niche options, and more creative thought. However, it is still the best catch all pub in Riga that I know. But there is no single subcategory, where it is best.
Maybe they should partner with a craft brewery or something, so they would have that nice covered, and more adaptive food options (such as for vegans), and just have one main projector screen somewhere for big games. But maybe this would require expanding the premises.
